About Bench Studio.
Founded in 2019 by Benjamin Bill and Charlie Haslam, Bench Studio is a design and make practice based in east London. We create thoughtful, hand-crafted furniture with a wide range of materials. By focussing on the finer touches, we can help you to achieve the holistic vision you have for your home, office or creative space.
Our background in digital, architectural drawing allows us to envision your space and work through various options with you to find the creative solution to your needs.
Ben studied design at Goldsmiths University before going to the Royal School of Architecture in Copenhagen, where he trained in spatial design, he also teaches at UAL, Camberwell college of arts.
Charlie attended Bristol School of Art where he studied an art foundation. He has since garnered years of hands-on experience in furniture and cabinet-making, design, art fabrication and jewellery creation.
All of our products are made by hand and are created to be loved for years to come. We have an online shop and also make bespoke furniture to order.
